Abstract
  • This portfolio represents my work from the Critical Dialogic Pedagogy (CDP) Micro-Credential Program, a 10-week workshop series offered by CU Dialogues at the University of Colorado Boulder. Through a combination of in-person dialogue practice, asynchronous learning, and applied instructional design work, I engaged with core principles of critical dialogic pedagogy and developed practical strategies for fostering structured, reflective, and inquiry-driven classroom environments. This experience supported my ongoing development as an educator committed to designing learning spaces that emphasize thoughtful engagement, shared responsibility, and critical examination of communication processes. The artifacts included in this portfolio demonstrate my pedagogical growth across multiple dimensions of teaching practice. This portfolio reflect my developing ability to design and facilitate structured dialogue, establish collaborative classroom norms, redesign questions to deepen critical thinking, and integrate dialogic principles into lesson planning and classroom activities. They also illustrate my evolving teaching philosophy centered on dialogue as a method for learning, reflection, and knowledge production within communication studies. Through this micro-credential experience, I strengthened my capacity to navigate complex classroom conversations and to intentionally structure learning environments that support sustained student engagement with ideas, perspectives, and analytical frameworks.
