Laura joined the Emergency Preparedness and Office Continuity committee as a student liaison to practice her leadership skills. During her time on the committee, she identified ways to improve safety in our office and communicated with student employee coworkers about their concerns. She has earned the Leadership Commendable micro-credential.

As a student lead, Laura has demonstrated excellent use of communication skills. Additionally, she presented a poster at the Student Success Conference and exemplified professional communication. She has earned the Communication Commendable micro-credential.
