Abstract
  • This artifact highlights Beyonse Gordillo Jimenez’s experience onboarding and training student employees in the Office of the Registrar Call Center. As a Student Lead, she has trained over 15 employees through onboarding, shadowing, and real-time call support, helping them build confidence as they begin handling calls on their own.

Her approach includes using real scenarios, discussion-based practice, and immediate feedback to better prepare employees for the types of situations they will encounter on calls. She has also been involved in the hiring process by reviewing candidates, participating in interviews, and helping assess fit for the role, which has informed how she approaches training and employee development.

Through this work, she has supported employee growth, contributed to more consistent training practices, and helped new employees become more comfortable and independent in a fast-paced call center environment. This experience reflects the advanced application of onboarding and training practices associated with the superior level of the micro-credential.
