- Abstract
- The plausible causes of Nero's infamous nature are explored through evidence gathered from numismatic imagery and historical accounts. His peculiar weight gain is of particular interest and investigated in relationship to possible Cushing's syndrome. His behaviors and physical descriptions from historians are investigated for possible causes of his notoriously maniacal legacy.
