My name is Emily (she/her/hers) and I am your instructor for this course. I am very excited to be teaching this course because one of my foremost interests in the discipline is using communication to create more just worlds, both through teaching and research. When I'm not teaching or researching, I love getting up into the mountains, making art, spending quality time with my family and friends, playing music, and reading. I'm very much looking forward to working with each of you!
