Relationship between files: There are two types of files containing data in this repository: Level 1c (in the .zip files) and Level 2 (in the files with names beginning mvn_iuv_L2). The Level 1c (L1c) files contain radiance profiles of individual emissions that contribute to the observed MAVEN/IUVS MUV limb spectra between 303-316 nm. These emissions are extracted using a multiple linear regression of the spectra as described in Stevens et al. (2023). The output includes OH prompt and OH solar fluorescence radiance profiles with uncertainties. All the emission profiles are derived from Version 13 IUVS Level 1b MUV data that are publicly available in FITS format on the NASA Planetary Data System (PDS). The Level 1b data use a revised calibration of the IUVS MUV channel as described in the Supporting Information of Stevens et al. (2023). There is a L1c file for each limb scan and each is tagged with the mode of operation (Periapse, Inlimb, or Outlimb) as well as the orbit number and the Universal Time of the scan. The files are assembled in the repository by MAVEN orbit number. The Level 2 files contains the averaged water vapor and OH density profiles near perihelion in Mars Year 35 (MY35; Figures 13a and 13b of Stevens et al., 2023). Averaged temperature and CO2 profiles averaged over the same scans are also included. The L2 file also contains the variation of water vapor and OH density at 2 x 10^-4 Pa for different time periods in MY34 and MY35 (Figure 14 of Stevens et al.). To supplement the data in this repository, there are also three .jpg figures included that show how the MAVEN/IUVS daytime limb observations are distributed in (a) latitude and (b) solar zenith angle. Each figure shows the distribution over Mars Year 34 (mission_cover_34.jpg), Mars Year 35 (mission_cover_35.jpg; Figure 1) and Mars Year 36 (mission_cover_36.jpg). Each symbol represents a limb scan for either periapse observations (black), inlimbobservations (red), or outlimbobservations. Dust storm activity is indicated by the shaded areas. 3.
