Volume 5 (1975)
Colorado Research in Linguistics number 5 is slightly different in format from the preceding editions, all of which consisted of individual articles written by faculty and graduate students at the University of Colorado. The present volume consists in the main of a monographic study of three kinds of complex sentences in modern spoken Persian. This study, the doctoral dissertation of Mr. Hessam Tabaian, was completed late in 1974, and we are pleased to make it available in prepublication form to readers of CRIL.
A second departure from our traditional format is the inclusion of a list of recent publications by faculty, students, and former students of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Colorado. This list appears in the volume immediately before Dr. Tabaian's Conjugation, Relativization, and Complementation in Persian.
