The Foundations of Science Communication micro-credential focuses on the specific science communication skills learners accomplish during the Research Experience for Community College Students (RECCS) undergraduate summer research experience. Participants engage in weekly workshops over a nine-week period during their research experience where they learn to communicate their research through an elevator speech, written abstract, white board talk, scientific poster and oral presentation.
