Abstract

In this writing I will examine the body of work All There Is, which I exhibited as consideration for completion of my Master of Fine Arts thesis. This work is a culmination of three years of development, research and exploration of my process as an emerging artist. I will describe the work and show that the observations I make within it come from looking at the world as an artist and amatuer anthropologist, utilizing tools and techniques found in both the fields of art and anthropology. In some instances the practice needed to move outside the studio in order to pursue some of the interests I was following in the work.
