- Abstract
Philosophical discourse relies on words. Contra fields such as math and science, attempting to compel philosophical agreement may utilize logical proofs/empirical research, but efficacy ultimately hinges on our use of language. In this presentation, I examine some of the (i) ethical, and (ii) social implications of the discipline's trend toward extreme content and occlusion of trigger warnings within conceptual analysis - particularly via the development and employment of thought experiments/intuition pumps.
